The search system in Wazzup is fast and accurate. You can find any client or message — either globally across all chats or within a specific conversation.
Who sees what
Here’s how search works for different roles:
- A manager can search only in chats they have access to. For example, if the account has 30 chats and the manager can access 10, the search will work only in those 10.
- A supervisor sees all chats and can search across them — to monitor the team’s performance.
- A quality assurance specialist can search in the chats they have access to.
- If an employee has no access to any chats, search won’t work — there’s simply nothing to search through.
Global search
Looking for a client or message? Start typing in the search bar above the chat list — just three characters are enough.
Results appear in two blocks:
- Contacts — search by name or phone number.
- Messages — shows all messages containing your query.
Click a contact to open the chat.
Click a message to jump straight to that part of the conversation.
To clear the search query, click the “X” in the search bar.
Search within a chat
When you need to find a specific message in a conversation:
1. Click the magnifying glass icon at the top of the open chat.
2. Type a word or part of a phrase.
Use the arrow buttons in the search field to move through results.
3. Click “Show as list” to view all matches in the side panel.
4. Click a message — it will be highlighted so you can spot it easily.
To reset the search, click the “X” next to the search field.
